I Like the Bonnie Hunt Show
I’ve always been aware of Bonnie Hunt. I heard the whole, “She started out as a nurse” business. But a recent article by Roger Ebert brought Bonnie to my attention for her new talk show. So I TiVo’d an episode and it’s great. You can watch clips on bonniehunt.com. It’s a great show because she tells all these stories from her life and they’re all hilarious. And she’s got street cred! She performed at the Second City in Chicago for years, and there’s a clip of her on youtube on the Daily Show where Jon Stewart calls her, “Possibly the most delightful woman in America.” She got him laughing so hard he fell out of his chair!
She also doesn’t star in a lot of things because she’s really discriminating with her taste and also for content. She’s a family person so that’s why she’s in the Cheaper by the Dozen and Beethoven movies, but she’s also in Jerry Maguire and a few good indies here and there.
The point is, watch the Bonnie Hunt Show - I think you’ll really like it.
